The Local Motive is a documentary series of 6 episodes, exploring the local food system in Vermont. A collaboration between Vermont PBS, The Skinny Pancake and Von Dier Video, each episode is a 30 minutes long entertaining journey into the nuts and bolts of our comprehensive local food movement. Not just produced to pat Vermonters on the back, The Local Motive asks tough questions and looks at both the successes and the hurdles that still lie ahead. Join our host, Hayes Dunlap, as we meet with the hardworking folks who are creating this unique food movement. We start at the beginning and continue to complete the circle: Production, Processing, Distribution, Institutions, Consumers, Waste.
